Inverter question

Hello everybody

We just bought a brand new Imagine 2970RL. We call her Ima 2.0 because our last travel trailer was an Imagine 2600rb 2018. We are really happy of our purchase.

Ima was equiped with 350 watts of solar panels and a 3000 watts inverter, who was worked very well. Now i transfert my inverter in Ima 2.0 with the transfer switch and the 300 amps lithium batteries. I used the inverter prep of Ima 2.0.

Now when i am on the inverter, a section of my trailer have no power (tv, électric outlet on both side of the couch). My question, i want to know if somebody had this kind of problem.

The inverter prep circuit doesn’t necessarily power everything in the trailer. I am not familiar with this particular model (I am sure others on this forum can answer that) but it may be fairly easy to determine which outlets do get power from the inverter prep circuit. Can you post a picture of your circuit breaker panel?

You may need to switch one of your breakers. I don't know how the inverter prep is wired in your coach, in ours the inverter prep services two breakers in the main power box. You might contact GD customer service using your VIN to check how your inverter is wired. They could give you more specifics on how to get power to your outlets.

Hi

I finally find how to fix the problem. On the video seen youtube the men showed the breaker panel with 2 inverter breakers. On my panel it have only one. Both with the research, i found a second breaker who call sub panel.

How it's work is simple. The 50 amps arrive on the main breaker panel. The main panel send the power to the sub panel by the loop call inverter breaker to the sub panel breaker. On this way all de 110v power is avalable in the rv.

When you want to have off shore power with an inverter. You have to cut the loop and make it past through a transfert switch, who will select witch power to use.

In the case of it, from the inverter only the sub panel will receive power. It mean some parts of the rv have no power like in this case, the tv and the clims. Finally i just had to move the breaker of the tv on the sub panel and my problem is fixed.
