Is it safe to drill into a MORryde pin box?

Yes sir, that's exactly what I'm saying. Like most things though, as you are backing in, you may have to pause for a few seconds for the reading to "update" but for the most part, it's usually pretty quick. Pausing for a few seconds also gives the system a chance to be more accurate because the trailer is NOT moving and the sensor are not "seeing" any movement that would cause them to fluctuate.
I'll have to give that a shot this spring when we take the trailer out for it's first trip of the year to my secret walleye fishin' spot in May

We travel across the country every year and many times we don't unhitch. The Level Mate makes it a lot easier to find a spot that's close to level. Ease back and forth watching the display on my phone as it updates front to back and side to side.

By chance do you also have the One Control system on your trailer? If you do, you can use the phone app for One Control and go to the leveling system and it will display "degrees" of being high or low right there on the phone.
Well...I tried this yesterday. If the trailer is being moved/moving with the TV, the leveling system is disabled so I get no reading. If I stop and deactivate the motion inhibit...I get the degree readouts..but not that useful when I'm in the truck.
Did I misunderstand something here?

Mine is a 2018 model so there was not a motion inhibit mode on it as far as I know. Sounds like my suggestion won't work on the newer models.
