Jensen JWM22 Stereo does not support BT speakers

My new 2025 Reflection 295RL does not have outside speakers. No big deal I thought, I'll just use a BT speaker. After spending half an hour trying to get it to pair, I find out from Jensen customer service that the JWM22 does not have a BT transmitter. I called Grand Design to see if there is an optional stereo, but no. How have others addressed this issue other than replacing the stereo?

Does it have a headphone jack? If so you could use a Bluetooth transmitter.

Unfortunately, not. A Bluetooth transmitter is a good idea. It does have a line out jack, so I'm going try connecting a BT transmitter to that,

Sure, and that works fine if I have cell coverage, or have what I want to listen to on my phone. But I like to listen to high school sports and other radio shows. Where I camp, I can pick up FM stations but cell coverage is spotty at best.

I got a BT transceiver on Amazon for $25 and connected to the Line Out jacks of the JWM22. That fixed my issue. Thanks everyone for your input!

Wow, that seems kind of strange, but come to think of it, I think I tried to do this with my older head unit to connect to my headphones and had to settle for the Roku phone app that lets me stream from any of the apps on the Roku through my phone to my BT headphones... But that doesn't work for off-air, unless the head unit will transmit radio over HDMI to the TV? Select the input in the Roku/smart TV and use BT speaker paired to phone? Probably easier to spend $20.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, just got back from a 3-week camping trip. Anyway, I installed a Bluetooth transceiver on the Line Out jacks of the JWM-22. That lets me connect to a Bluetooth speaker. The JWM-22 can only receive BT connections, not make them.
