This will be our 3rd RV. Trading in our 2012 Jayco Pinnacle for the 369RL. Thanks to this forum, it helped me make my mind up to go ahead and make the deal. Seems as if most people are pretty happy with their rig. Looking forward to much fun ahead!

Congratulations. What made you decide to sell the Pinnacle? Issues?

The Pinnacle itself was wonderful. Full body paint, generator, double pane windows etc. The thing that drove me over the edge was the Atwood automatic leveling system. It would fail me about 50% of the time and I would need to call their tech support to have them walk me through different "fixes" Had a leg get bent, a motor go bad and they replaced the control unit. It was a crap shoot as to whether it would work or not. Took the fun out of it. Plus my wife really wanted a larger shower. Something crazy like not having enough room to shave her legs...

Hiya Dennis and Melissa and welcome to the forums!
Congrats on the new Solitude :)

That is one big thing that pushed us toward GD also. Reading the reviews on that leveling system I was a very reluctant and the 2014 Pinnacle's were still using it. The reviews on GD's are better except for the popping which is easily fixed but not something a new owner should have to deal with but it is what it is. I cant imagine the shower being smaller than the GD. That was my only complaint about the floor plan. I will miss the shower in the Montana but for the time I spend in there I will make due.

The shower in the Pinnacle was the corner type shower, shaped like a slice of pie. Too bad about the leveling system because I liked it other than that but was leery about it every time I went to set it up.

We are having some serious popping issues - but we are in Montana and "they" say it is worse when there are variances in the temperature and we go form 70ish during the day to 40ish at night. Bought the Catepillar hydraulic additive recommended and waiting to set up and break down a few times to get it in moving. Like you mtpocket - don't think it's something a new owner should have to deal with - have had ours 1 1/2 weeks.

We have not received ours yet. What do you mean by popping issues?

mtpocket mentioned the popping in the leveling system and I just commented on ours - we had popping sounds in our Keystone product (also Lippert hydraulic jacks) we traded. If you search this site the other threads about the "popping" should come up. A customer service rep responded and said to get some hydraulic additive which we bought and hubs added it today.
