The prior owner removed the outside kitchen/refrigerator section. He did give me parts of it and the pull out stove. But it looks like he cut up alot of it. What he did was he pulled out the bunks and made it like a small office area with a desk counter.

So, my questions are.

a. Is there supposed to be an access window to the valves at the water heater? I feel like there should be. I noted them when I removed the desk top.
b. Anyone had some good photos of how the section with the pull out stove looks?
c. I found tucked in by the water heater a blue wire with three leads. Anyone know what it is supposed to be for?
d. I found two small gauge white/black 12v wires, which I assume were for 12v lights in the bay?
e. Looking at it, I don't believe the framing for that section has anything to do with supporting the bunk?
f. Source for some type of paneling to rebuild that section since he cut up the factory stuff.

Since I am rebuilding that whole section, anyone have any modifications made to it?

Next is regarding the thermostat on the wall by the door. It doesn't seem to be on, does it control only the heater? Or both the heater and AC?

Thank you for any help

Cheers

A. The access panel was from the outside kitchen area to the water heater.

B. See attached pic of a 2024 model.

C. No idea.

D. Possibly. There was light in there.

E. I see nothing in your picture that would support the bunk. There should be holes in the wall from where screws were holing the supports.

F. You can try the parts page on the Grand Design website, but it is very expensive to ship paneling. Since you would basically be building it custom, pick out what you like.

Thank you for the help.

On E, I can see the holes in the walls where the bunks were.

On F, I found some 4'x 8' 1/8 smooth ready to stain finish plywood locally. Think I will use it and then just white wash stain it or something so it will be brighter in the box.

After doing lots of reading online over the weekend I've decided to approach the area differently than factory. I'm not going to put the two-burner stove back in but build it out differently. I plan to put this stainless drawer in where the stove was and build a pull-out stainless shelf that holds the drawer and the "shelf" similar to the one pictured but without the gap. I'll use some 500lb locking slides for it.

Plan to add some LED lights on a switch and make the other side just storage and skip the fridge after reading they don't work all that great. But I'll put a both 110v and 12v power drop in both sections in case I want it for something.

And while I was at was thinking of adding a USB charging port and "cigarette lighter" port for 12-volt compressors etc. I was thinking I could also add a TV arm in there.

Cheers
