Does anyone have a solution for keeping the refrigerator doors open in storage? After we returned from our 5 week trip the little plastic sliding piece on the Atwood did not want to hold the door open. It had been a long drive, unpack and move to storage so we did not investigate too closely, but the plastic didn't look broken, just did not want to stay in the 'out' position.

Thanks, Kay

Try rolling a towel up and draping it over the door, near the corner. We did that on our little Jayco all the time. The latches on the Atwood seem to work Okay on our fridge. It's supposed to be like closing a deadbolt with the door open, but they're not very long or sturdy. Hope that helps.

We do the same as Tumbleweeds. Just drape a towel over the doors to keep them open and prevent mold/mildew after a trip.

I had always used one of those little expandable curtain rods that are used to keep things in place on shelves. Placed near the outer edge even with a door shelf the door won't close. I don't think that plastic slide was designed to keep the door open, just locked.

Thanks for the ideas. We have some of the fridge bars, might try that. My husband got the fridge bars for the pantry, and they seemed to work pretty well (I was paranoid about the giant bottle of Scotch making a huge mess) and we take them out when staying for a couple nights.
