An RVer with a 2023 Reflection 150 260RD lost a key and asked whether a keyless entry upgrade justified the cost, given mixed reviews. Several members recommended Onnais, citing convenience, metal construction, keypad quality, and favorable battery life, with one reporting a $90 holiday sale purchase. Experiences with RVLock were mixed: some reported reliable operation, while others described keypad deterioration, frequent battery replacement, or failure after roughly two years; two members had switched to Bauer, with limited follow-up reported.
The original RVer also asked whether Onnais lock thickness could interfere with the folding entry handle or prevent the open door’s holding magnet from contacting the wall. Responding owners reported no handle interference on their installations, although one needed to leave the screen-door slider open when the screen was latched to the main door. None of those respondents used a magnetic door holder, so that clearance concern remained unconfirmed, and no final purchase decision was reported.
