Hi all,

My 369 kitchen faucet will not activate in the "spray" mode and not much pressure. outside source is 60 to 65 psi so I don't believe that would be the issue. I haven't done anything yet just looking if there is anyone with similar issue and correction before I roll up my sleeves.

Thanks Dave

we just had are shake down yesterday. Ours was winterized so we made sure to flush the entire system. The should be a button on the faucet to switch between spray and normal. Im assuming you have tried all of those options? Are you having the same issue with the shower?

Try unscrewing the hose from the end when it is pulled out. Sometimes debris finds it way into the water diverter inside there and plugs it.

I had a similar problem at a campground and I found out my water regulator was not working right, put a new one on and had pressure. Mine affected all faucets though not just the kitchen not sure about yours if it is only a problem in the kitchen.

We just returned from our first trip in our 369. The shower and the bath sink seemed to sputter the whole time we were there. Three full days of use and it still acted like air was in the line. I opened the relief valve on the water heater and no air there. This was occurring hot and cold. Kitchen sink was fine. We were only using city water hookup with a restricter.

Just a thought...

I recall your saying that they opened the campground early for you. It's quite possible that the air you're getting in the camper could be from the campground de-winterizing their water system. It'd make sense that you'd most notice it in the shower or bath sinks as they're the highest point in the camper's plumbing system.

Hey Dave!
Hadn't thought of that! Very well could be. Our next trip is first week of April so we can check it out again.
You sure do know a lot of stuff!!

Thanks so much!

It's always a good idea to open the faucet at any RV park for a few seconds before hooking your RV up to it. It gets rid of any air, sediment or debris that could be in the line.

Hi Dave

I was wondering the same thing about our kitchen faucet. The bathroom and shower faucets work great but the kitchen faucet has a weak stream and no spray when pressing the button. I took off the head to check for debris but it was clean. Have you found a solution?

Kathy

Hi Kathy,

No not yet. I tried bypassing my filter and regulator so I don't believe the delivery pressure is to blame. I think it may be internal to the faucet itself. I plan to R&R and do some more detective work and I will let you know.

Mine is in service currently, and one of the issues is that it won't change from Spray to Stream. :S

So...I spent a week up in Denver, up in the snow that came this last week. All 12" of it. LOL. We were having the problem, and the tech indicated that he noticed it too. When I got to the campground and set up, we noticed that the pressure was really bad. I went out to check out some things and noticed that my KantLeak was in Normal, not City Fixtures. Once I switched it over to CF, the issue was gone. Pressure was back and the sprayer was working. Not sure that this has resolved it completely, but it will work in the wrong position, just not with full pressure.
