The left front landing jack on my 2021 Solitude 380fl needs to be replaced due to the hydraulic leak already?!
I noticed a drip of hydraulic fluid last summer but forgot to check it out, and this week, I saw a puddle of fluid leaking from the black hose leading into the jack. So disappointed.

I should have handled it sooner, as I may have been under the warranty. I emailed GD customer service, and they didn't offer any help. I hope it doesn't collapse before it gets repaired and cause major issues!
Haven't been following the forum last few years, is this a common issue with the GD's?

Have you tried going to Lippert, since it is their system?

Maybe they will goodwill it for you...

That sounds reasonable, but I called Lippert since GD was no help, and the customer service video called me, and someone determined that it needed a jack replacement. I assume they arrived at that diagnosis by seeing the hydraulic fluid on the footplate, and also, it was dripping from the black hose where the crimped wide ring-like gizmo meets the connection point to the jack. I wouldn't know any different. You might be correct, but I could be duped very easily by any mechanic.

I called the customer service line and they offered me a 25% discount. No grace for me from either company.
A part is on the way by the service department that I bought the rig from, and hopefully soon before it comes crashing down.
I'm going to sell this rig and never purchase one again. I barely used it; it was never traveled in, and it was a respite spot for me to take occasionally as a break while taking care of my dying parents. It delivered the 'Solitude' I needed, but what a PIA rv's can be! I have been looking at motorhomes now that I have the time to travel, I'm obviously not over the RV option!

Why not have someone bump the jack motor for a second to see where it's actually leaking from. Make sure you have that corner set with a support other than that leg.
If it was leaking from the hose, I would just remove the hose, bring it to a hydraulic hose repair shop( alot of True Values have this service) and replace with new. maybe $20 bucks if I were to guess.
