Landing pad support..

When setting up. Do you put wood or blocks under your landing pads? I haven't been, seems they already have a good size footprint.
Yes or no??
 
I do the same, I glued and screwed 2x8x12s together makes a good solid footing. I also carry additional boards for spots that are not level.
 
If I am on a paved or gravel surface I do not use anything. 2X12's if on dirt for insurance.
 
I use 2-4x4x10 PT screwed together, sometimes 2 stacks of them. I believe that reducing the jack extension reduces movement in the camper though I have SteadyFast bars installed too.

I just use the pads unless the ground is really soft from mud or sand. They do have a good footprint and I've found that supplemental pads aren't needed.
