LazyDays RV Elkhart

I'm looking to purchase a new Solitude S-class 3540 GK-R. The closest dealer to me that has one is LazyDays RV in Elkhart. Does anyone have any thoughts on this dealer and their service? I also would like to know if anyone who has purchased from them if the PDI by them was done properly and if the purchaser inspection was allowed to be done as thoroughly as needed. Also, how was their pricing?

Last I checked, LazyDays Elkhart doesn’t carry Grand Design but LazyDays Chicagoland does. It’s located in Burns Harbor. We ordered a 17MKE there in December. All negotiating was done via email and we are expecting delivery in March/April.

Their response to our questions has been good. We paid about 27 % off MSRP

CampLand RV in Burns Harbor was fairly recently bought up by LazyDays. I bought my 2020 21BHE from CampLand in the fall of 2019. Purchase experience was good, but I'd rate service a 3 out of 10. Hopefully LazyDays in Elkhart is better.

May I suggest adding the state to questions like this as there is usually more than one city by almost any given name in the country? It's not a big deal but certainly clears things up with maybe two seconds of effort to put in the two letter abbreviation.

Presenting this only because it's 10° outside with 4" of snow on the ground and I am extremely bored. I found six Elkharts. Two of them in Iowa about 25miles apart. Who knew? no ill will intended.
