I noticed that I had water under the kitchen hutch. I was able to trace the leak to the cold water intake of the hot water heater by removing the lower drawers - see photo. I want to remove and reseal the fitting so my question is how to access on the 337. I can see it on from the hutch, but without Reed Richards stretchability, I can not get to it. If I pull the panels from the basement, I think that it will be too far from the frame to access the fitting. Do I need to pull the hot water heater for access?

Has anyone else done this repair?

Thanks

While I haven't tried that repair, if it were me I'd try coming through the panels from the passthrough before removing the heater.

I had a leak in the same area. I used

T Plus 2 1.75 oz. Non-Stick Thread Sealant Miscellaneous Repair Kit

Be careful not to over tighten.
