We carry one of these with us in the rig. And we carry another one with us when staying over at our kid's houses and hotels (although not much of that lately). On the automatic setting it only lights in the dark, has a soft bluish glow, and times out after a short time when motion stops.

What other neat things are folks carrying or adding on to their RVs that are under $30?

LED Motion Sensor Light

on edit..... bumped the limit from $20 to $30 -- now this is gonna cost all of us more dollars as we find out what we're "missing".

I think $30 would be a better limit. It seems like a lot of things are in the high $20 range.

For under $20, best thing is the $12/year subscription to this forum.

Garden hose quick connects

Box of nitrile gloves for dealing with sewer hose

For under $30.

Valterra twist on waste valve

I'm sure there is more, just a few items that popped into my head.

I have a funny feeling that this thread will cost me more money.

Bug screens for the outside furnace and water heater vents. Also for the refrigerator vent but that's a debatable idea.

Comet with Bleach around all tires and levels that touch the ground. You will never have an ant problem again!

Magnetic knife holder (thank you IkeaJ,
childlocks for side by side cupboard doors (They work great),
refrigerator hold back bars for top and bottom shelf,
Costco bathroom shower corner stand (mounts by spring to roof and floor),
extra plug in plugs,
pull out shelves on rails (again ikea) used in pantry and cupboards.

I'll second the gate valve. I can never get the grey and black fully closed in the Nautilus compartment. I got dumped on once too many, so now I have the Valterra as the second line of defense. For some reason, the kitchen valve at the back of my 320MKS never has had an issue. It closes fully.
