My 2021 397th-r momentum will not stay leveled have to keep resetting every few week and a big difference when using control panel inside to outside and phone, outside one seems close inside one is off and phone app is way off. What is missing or what am I doing wrong. Thanks Dave

First things first. If you are having to re-level every few weeks, there is an issue with the hydraulic leveling system. The most likely issue is "leakage" of the hydraulic fluid not staying where it is suppose to be. First thing to check, and the easiest, see if there is any visible hydraulic fluid leaking from any of the cylinders or hoses. You are not going to be able to see all of the hoses, as they are tucked away under the coroplast bottom of the trailer. A leak under there will be hard to spot unless it is a significant leak and it will find it's way out of the coroplast enclosed area. The most likely place is where the hoses attach to the cylinders themselves.....either the fittings or the hose. The other place is fluid leaking from the cylinder itself.

The other possibility is the Hydac valve manifold inside the front generator/hydraulic compartment. What happens sometimes is the hydac valve that is suppose to be held closed to keep the hydraulic fluid in place at the legs, will allow fluid to backflow through that valve and the result is that the trailer slowly loses it's level. It's not an "external" leak, it's an "internal leak that allow fluid to flow back into the system/hydraulic tank instead of staying on the top of the cylinders, under pressure, and thus keep the trailer level

I have no explanation for the difference between leveling with the inside panel and leveling with the phone/app. They are both controlling the exact same leveling equipment.

Read what coglesby on this forum says about this. I tightened the screw on top of the hydac valve and it stopped my camper from creeping down. special thanks to him! Happy camping!

First check that the Allen screw on the end of the hydac valves are fully counter-clockwise. Don’t forget to check the slide valve as well and the landing gear valve which is on the top of one of the landing gear jacks. Then Individually disconnect the electrical plug on each hydac valve one at a time and try to exercise what that valve goes with. Nothing should move. If it does that valve is bypassing fluid when it should be closed. You can get a replacement from Amazon for about $125. You’ll need a 7/8” end wrench to change it out. Only change it with everything retracted, jacks and slides.

BTW, if things are moving it could be any of the valves leaking by. Don’t fool yourself like I did into thinking that the side that is drifting is the problem valve.
