Greetings,

I am planning on installing a LiFePo battery (maybe 2) in the storage compartment under the bed, as others have done. My question is on cabling - where is the best place to tie in the battery to the system from that location. Do I need to run the battery cables back out to the external area on the trailer frame where the original battery connected? Or can I tie in using a different location, such as the area behind the battery meter and battery switch panel? Thanks.

I have the Furrion MPPT 25A charger (with Lithium charging capability) on the solar side, and a WFCO-9855 auto detect converter, so not planning on changing those.

It looks like you're new here, welcome to the forum fellow Granite Stater. Ideally, you want your cables to be as short as possible to avoid voltage drop. I'm not familiar with your coach, so I can't make any specific recommendations. But your charger will work better if it is close to the batteries, especially the WFCO-9855 which is very sensitive to voltage fluctuations. If your solar controller and you charger/converter are close to each other, put the batteries as close to them as possible.

Thank you! I appreciate your response and advice. I will be mindful of the location and cable lengths.
