I have two 230 amp lithium batteries that I need to mount. What’s the typical way everyone mounts two batteries of that size. I have a 5th wheel and want to mount them in the front compartment. Any pictures or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You can buy double battery boxes online at some RV supply places....just make sure of the size that you would need. Or as another option, you could just use some decent nylon straps that are the ratcheting type and pull them down snug, carefully not over-tightening them. If you go that route, I would probably also cut a couple pieces of 1" x 2" wood and screw it down to the floor on the ends of the batteries so that they couldn't possibly slide out from under the strapping.

I picked up four of these (two per battery) and installed eye bolts in the floor to hook them to. I think I paid around $9 each at my local auto parts store. They fit my 230ah LiTime battery cases perfectly and they aren’t going anywhere. Sorry, no installed picture readily available.

See post 5 here for what I did to secure the batteries.

That's what I did with 100ah batteries

Thank you all for the replies. It looks pretty straight forward and I like the keep it simple approach. I'll go take some measurements tomorrow and see which solution looks like the best match.
thank you again

When lithium batteries were very new and mostly just used by the military, there were a couple of styles that had holes through the cases that allowed for easy and secure mounting. It would be nice to see someone do that for recreational batteries.

Remember, the attaching points must be secured properly. Some of these floors are just a sandwich of wood/foam/wood. That thin sheet of wood is not going to hold any battery when there is an emergency.
