Out for a long weekend and a good storm hits the area. Lightening strike VERY close to the trlr. All good except the AC. Several of the indicator lights on the AC/Furnace control panel are on. AC compressor running but no fan. Can't shut it off at panel. Shut the breakers off and back on, no change. Unplugged the 30A and disconnected the battery....still no change. The same LEDs on the panel come on but nothing comes on or changes. Any thoughts?

Hey Chris,

It sounds like your control panel (which operates on 12V) has stopped functioning . . . but is not dead if lights still come on.
I don't know which model you have, but is there a control panel reset button or small opening that you would use a paperclip or similar to press a reset ?

BTW, if you are in the Kanata area, we watched that storm pass north of where we are in the Thousand Islands.

Thanks Rob. I'm gonna crack the manuals out in a bit but there's no external reset. We're actually at Riverside-Cedars just east of Morrisburg on the St. Lawrence. In watching the environment Canada radar yesterday, it seems this area took the brunt of it. The actual strike was to a willow tree about 100' from the trlr.

Thanks...

You can check out the manual, otherwise go for a professional AC repair service.

Curious, did you have a surge protector mounted? If so, what type and did it not kick off?
