Lippert frame number request?

I just had a phone call from GD requesting a photo of my Lippert frame number tag. This is because Lippert asked them to get that information. Anyone else get a similar request? I was not expecting this having had no issues or contact with GD in a long time.

I would just give them the number tag and not think about it again unless they told me I needed to worry.
