Hi everyone.
As the title states we're new to Grand Design family and looking forward to participating in the discussions. We purchased a 2023 311BHS 5th wheel earlier in the year and headed out for a 6 month road trip. We're not retired yet so still working from the camper but this is a 'preview' for the next stage. I can say it has been an eye-opening experience but we've enjoyed the opportunities associated with the travel.
We had a 23' Jayco travel trailer for a number of years which we loved but knew it was too small to spend any real time in. The larger camper has taken some getting used to, especially the maneuverability but we've found a slower pace and a deep breath when needed improves the outlook considerably
.
We've met a lot of great people along the way and this lifestyle creates a common bond where we can share the challenges and opportunities we've all learned. Thanks to everyone for the helpful posts and we want to wish everyone 'safe travels'.
Brian & Linda.
