Our oven is small and we have young kids, I believe the majority of our dinners will be on the outdoor kitchen griddle (burgers/dogs/breakfast for dinner) or quick heating in the oven with those sterno/steam table style aluminum pans. The ones that are around 10"x14" with lids.

We can make them at home, have them all ready. Label the lids and stick them in the fridge until needed. Does anyone have some easy good ideas for this?

Chicken Parmesan
Baked Ziti
Spiral, sliced ham strips/roasted potatoes/carrots

There are no bad suggestions! Thanks for commenting.

Some cross country auto vacationers and offroad jeepers have been doing this for years.... quick, easy, and cooks while you drive... anywhere! Read the article and see what you think.

Note: you can test out your recipies on a simple grill or firepit. At our lake house, we use our wood burning firepit. We cut up any desired vegies, add in any cut up raw meat, add any spices to taste, add any butter/oil-vinegar/itallian dressing, stir to mix and place in a 2'x2' piece of aluminum foil folded & pinched wraped around the ingredients. Place it on a gap between the burning logs for about 20 minutes. Flames wouldnt hurt - just cook faster. You will be suprised how good it actually tastes with the advantage of not heating up your kitchen and making a mess indoors.
