Lug nuts not spinning freely

I think this is totally different than a travel trailer where there is 3500# bearing down on one hub/wheel. I'm not overly cautious with my other vehicles, just my tow vehicle and RV.
Have been on any steep climbs where you needed a some wheel speed to make it up to the flat before? Trust me, that 5000#+ (assorized) TJ of mine lands pretty hard after launching off a 2 wheel wheelie climb onto the flat!

Oh...and BTW, I keep spare axle bearings and U joints onboard too.

Like stated above, this is a sign of overtightening. When over torqued, the conical nut will pinch the threads making it difficult to remove, especially by hand. Do NOT use a lube on the threads. Dry clean threads only when torqueing down.
Personally if they're bad, I'd replace the nuts with a solid quality one. I usually get them as a set from my local Napa store.
I needed 48 for my triple axles. Most places were 5.00 each!
Costco had them for 0.78!
They seem to be really good quality so far. Certainly much better than the 2 piece ones that that GD used

I'd never expect Costco to sell lugnuts. Good to know. There is always Amazon too, 32 pack for $23.

The tire center has them, and belive it or not, yoyu do not have to purchase them in huge multi packs. You can buy just what you want....even just one!
