We picked up our M350 on Apr 2. We ordered a B&M slider, but Dean at Earl Owens talked with B&M who suggested we didn't need a slider. They suggested to Dean and we accepted his recommendation to order a Companion w/o slider. We, as B&M suggested, I installed it 7 inches to the rear and we can turn 90 degrees without problem. It clears the cab with at least 3 inches according to my brother who was watching the clearance when I tested the turning capability. The Ride right air suspension system works very well with no rear end sag. The trailer pulls well with no sway issues. We camped out that night and had a great time. Sure beats the Pop top we traded in.

I've been very happy with my BW hitch. I went with the slider just to be safe since I have a short bed, but I really haven't had to use it as I haven't needed to go completely jackknifed to get into a camping spot.

Based on the post from Ra&Ta350 that he bought a Companion without slider that is what I bought (RVK3600) . I installed it with the hitch in the farthest back position. It definitely does not clear the cab and you can NOT make 90 degree turns. I have not measured how many degrees it does turn but it turns pretty sharp but if you turn sharp enough it will hit the cab and the window. I will keep my hitch since it it is what I have and it appears to be a good hitch. My old unit would hit with a standard hitch and I always was careful. I have attached picture of how the standard hitch fit and how the B&W fits so you can see anyone that is interested can see how far it will turn. Sometime I will calculate the angle and add it to this post.

Fyi
I have a 2012 mega cab, B&W slider
I noticed yesterday with the slide back the back of the trailer arm hits the top of the tailgate with truck front wheels off curb, on flat ground there is only a inch clearance.
I think ill be buying a fiver tailgate!
