What’s with the drawers on island and around stove. New rig. First. Trip and drawers opened during travel. Quick fixes?

Due to bad roads etc when towing, we have had one of our slide doors jamb up against the hutch because of slight slide "tipping" during trailering. Luckily no damage. So, we now use these on all of our cabinet drawer/doors and installed spice rack door. They have worked great - no more open drawers/doors for last 3yrs!

Note: may also look into childproof door catches too like the ones below (not sure if it work on a drawer though):

Hmmmm.. Only time we've had drawers open was when I didn't close them fully. They should have those latching, roller-type locks on them. Maybe yours aren't connecting well?

Quick fix, broom handle slid down in the handles?

I have one of those childproof latches on the large drawer in my Imagine. It's the only thing that consistently keeps that big drawer with heavy stuff in it (plates, our griddle, toaster oven, etc) from sliding out and landing on the floor. It works great.

Amazon - RV cabinet latches and catches (4) pack. Had to add (2) to each side of to the large drawer under the TV. No more issues after that.

We had a couple doors in kitchen open on our first trip (unit bought used).. the latches were not lined up properly, so they did not latch solid. A few adjustments so the latch bits lined up correctly.

Our “pan drawer” under the stove opened because the mounting screws were too short and they loosened. Latch halves were misaligned. Longer screws and realignment, problem fixed.

Yep, the day I brought it home from the dealer a pantry drawer slid open and I didn't notice when I rolled out the left slide and broke the drawer. It wasn't bad and we were able to rebuild the drawer and replace the drawer slide. Lesson learned to check all the drawers before extending or retracting slides. I've taken it out a few times and never had a drawer open again. So my guess is that the drawer wasn't fully closed when we left the dealer.
