Main slide out issue

Hey, I need some help. This was our first weekend in our new 323bh and when I was extending the main slide (fridge, pantry) it stopped extending about 3/4 out. I was going slow to ensure I didn't contact a water spicket. I swapped fuses, that were labeled incorrectly-and no joy. I extended it the rest of the way manually, but can't figure out what's wrong. I checked all the fuses in the main box and I had an unrelated fuse that was popped that I was unaware of. I replaced it, so all the fuses are good now. All lights, fridge work normally. Any advice would be awesome. Thank you, dave

Sorry to hear of your trouble. Were you plugged into shorepower or the truck (with it running) when you were setting up? When doing all the set-up, landing gear, stabs and slides, it could pull the battery down enough to cause a problem

The slide drive fuses on our 337 are 30A auto-resetting in the DC side of the fuse/breaker panel...the top 2 (don't look like fuses)...you probably have 3 of them (the Schwintek drive fuse isn't located there). If the 2 other slides operated fine, it may be a bad auto-resetting fuse. You could try swapping good for bad though it will take some trial and error to figure out which is for what.

A call to customer service in the morning would also be a good plan. They can be reached at 574.825.9679

Hi Rakedog,

I think (not absolutely sure) that the main slides on the Reflections are powered by circuit breakers behind a cover above the battery in the front compartment. These should reset automatically if they have been popped. I realize, that this does not explain why the breaker popped. This is a picture with the cover removed.

Thank you for the replies. I think I'll have to call the customer service number :(
I was plugged into shore power and I figured out where the fuse is. It's one of the top two in the inside dc panel. I traded both of the auto resetting fuses out with each other. Both fuses seem to check out fine. i hope it's something simple and I'm just not thinking of it. Thank you again for the pic and customer service number.

I thought I would follow up with everyone and let you know what came of this. After a call to the dealer I purchased from, a call to gd customer service, and some of my own troubleshooting-I discovered the problem and it was a quick fix. I removed the main control panel inside the RV. The switch that controls the slide out had a wire that had come off during our journey home from Missouri. So, all is well again. Thank you again for your all your help. Dave
