Our 31MB came with just a single air. We considered adding a second A/C ourselves, but for simplicity and where we camp, we are going to try just a Maxx Air. There are numerous YouTubes showing the installation, and it is fairly straightforward, but I wasn’t sure what to expect wiring-wise.
For anyone else considering this add-on, the ceiling comes pre-wired with both 110V (to a junction box), and a 12V line (with generous extra length) that was on the same circuit as the master bed’s side table lamps. (There is also a wall thermostat wire preinstalled). Here are some pictures in case you are curious. The wires were all coiled at the front of the opening (closest to tow vehicle).
(Please forgive my photos that have been rotated by the bulletin board 90deg left. Other than uploading “landscape”-only, I can’t figure out the bulletin board’s syntax to keep original formatting.)
