Mirrors

I thought I went through all the controls for the mirrors and didn't see that option, but I will double check. Thanks

Sorry, forgot to mention that’s it’s manual. It would be nice to have a switch but I can live with this. On a slightly related note, my favorite feature of this truck is the auto deploy running boards.

..... Gone are the days when folks (truckers mostly) would flash their lights to give you and 'all clear'.

Yup.... aint that the truth! I still do on occasion flash my lights at a few "long haulers" to let them know they have cleared my rig so they can get over. Used to be if you gave the all clear, a courtesy return rear flash was displayed after they cutback in. But, as you stated, not much any more. It seems like now if you do it they think your just messing with them or something.

Oh well.... now, just keep slow in the right lane and hope I dont come across a "Parnelli Jones" driving style truck driver!

Just get the backup camera. You'll be glad you did. The Haloview I recently got to replace a Furrion that was on our trailer works great. The Furrion had some issues and I wouldn't recommend one of those. You don't absolutely need a camera, but it makes things way easier and less stressful in heavy traffic. Well worth the expense.

I will definitely get a camera. Will all Furrion models connect up to the mount without any modifications and if I go with a different brand will mods need to be done to mount it? With the Furrion it would be installing it on the mount and installing a monitor in the truck?

Should be no issue. When I swapped mine I just pulled off the old Furrion gasket and replaced it with the Haloview one. Screw holes were the same.

The last RV show I was at, looking at camera's, all had adapters if needed for mounting on the Furrion mounts.

Hello all,
Just bought a 2021 3500 Laramie DRW to go full time RV living.
6.7 HO, Aisin tranny. Pulls my new 2023 Solitude 382WB no problem.
It has the Max Tow pkg, Towing Tech Group B pkg and the Level A Equipment Group pkg.
Nice truck.
It doesn't have extended mirror's, and am unable to see the rear of my trailer. I am trying to figure a way to either replace the mirrors or get some
attachable extender mirrors.
Has anyone run into this problem?
Thanks for any advice you may have.
Do your mirrors flip 90 degrees outwards?
