Howdy!! Just took delivery of a new Imagine 22RBE and after getting home noticed there were no valences over windows. I called the dealership and they told me they were no longer putting them on because they upgraded the shade rollers so they wouldn’t rattle going down the road. Anyone else?

Here's a 2025 with valances
Build date 08/2024. Since it's been 5-6 months it's possible GD did start eliminating them.

I saw a video from Josh the RV Nerd not too long ago where the trailer had the type of shades you have. I don't remember the brand but Josh made the same comment about them not rattling going down the road. My comment was I don't care if they rattle as I'm not in the trailer when we are driving down the road and still want valances to hide the shades when they are up.

Anything built from September 2024 on does not have valances.

That is the new look, build units....there should be about 3-4 months worth of "old" build 2025's on the road.

It’s not that the shades rattle going down the road - Josh said the shades don’t rattle when walking around inside the trailer.

To the OP… valances are no longer used with GD’s current design. We have valances on our Imagine - we’d much prefer the design you have. The valances are a pain in the tush ;-)

Josh was referring to the new shades and that they didn't rattle like the old shades did. We've never had a problem with the old shades rattling as we move around the trailer or when the A/C is blowing on them. I guess we will disagree on valences or no valences.
