I have searched and not found exactly what I am looking for so am asking here. We currently have a Solitude but are considering moving to a toyhauler. We have a rzr xp4 that is 149” in length. Brochure list 397 garage as 12’ 6”. We want the patio system and patio doors. Do these shorten the 12’6”? We have been unable to find one close yet to physically see. We are dead set in the east/west bed slide like the 397 so that narrows the options. Thanks for any answers as we explore new options.

I don't have a 397, but I measured the 13' garage on my 349M more precisely than I think anyone else has. I have the optional 1/2 bath so you can ignore that.

Cut to the chase, the patio doors and ramp screens/barriers take up 9" from the overall length.

Thank you. That is what I suspected and was afraid of. This takes the 397 out of the running for now. Appreciate the details

No problem. It looks like the E/W bed is the deal breaker for you. Maybe I shouldn't say this here - but all of the Luxe toy haulers are E/W.

We have looked at a lot of different brands ands floorplans. Our Solitude has been very good and what few problems we have had Grand Design took care of quickly. We had a DRV Mobile Suite prior to our Solitude. My wife is not opposed to a toyhauler but she is opposed to giving up her “coach” feel in the main living area. Right now I just haul the machine on the deck of our Kenworth and pull her coach. I am going to have her look at some E/W bedroom floorplans and see what she thinks. Thanks again for the measurements. It will help me decipher other units garage space using the same methodology.

The patio and three season doors take up 6" of length. We ordered ours without because of that reason.

That is an option we may pursue. Thank you.

Love the tow vehicle by the way. You can never have too much truck .

I ordered a 320G last month, without the rear screen, or three season door for not only the 6" it takes from the garage, but also the weight. There are a number of aftermarket screens that you can buy for not much money that although not as fancy, work just as well.

The trailer weighs 21,500 lbs with a hitch weight of 6,000 lbs. Would not even think of pulling it with my F350.

Have you looked at the 2021 395 MS. Ours has the 14 foot garage. I just measured at 162" from 3 season doors to front wall. And the floor plan is awesome. B

Was not even aware of the 395 MS. I had seen the 395 M and that only had a 12’6” garage. I will take a look. Thank you

I know what you mean. My toy hauler set up is a little different but same feelings.

This was in the morning after the air had relaxed. We do not pull it nose down like the picture looks.

I just ran a tape measure down the garage of our 2021 397TH with the 3 season doors. I can confirm that we only have 145" from the front wall to the patio doors. We have a 2 seat RZR 1000 which is only 120" long.
