Morryde pin box

I believe solitudes come standard with a Lippert rotaflex which is similar to a morryde. The reflections come with a straight Lippert 1621 pin box.

I had a moryde hitch thrown into my purchase deal. They didn't have one in stock so I towed it home with the rota flex. I am going back in the spring to get it installed by the dealer.

So not to hijack this thread but I am going back and forth between putting a morryde pin box on or a 5th airbourne pin box on. Each seems to have their merits and the internet is full of opinions. I know many swear that the morryde is great but others say it only helps on the horizontal plane (chucking) . The 5th airbourne helps both horizontally and vertically but I am guessing less so horizontally since it doesn't slide. I can get the Morryde for a little under $500 and the 5th Airbourne for about $100 more. I have searched Airbourne on the forum and get very little hits other then in conjunction with a sidewinder. I don't want a rotoflex and the upper end trailair's are around $1K plus...

Thoughts? Does anyone have experience with both the Airbourne and Morryde?

BabyBober - What did you end up going with?

Ended up going with the 5th Airborne. It is on order. I went back and forth between this and the morryde. The main reason is I don’t have bad chucking but do also have some up and down with rough roads and figured that the 5th Airborne has the vertical dampening too. Bottom line was a balance between price and performance. Only time will tell if I made the right choice. But then again, not sure if I will ever know,
