Mounting a slide out awning rail

I have a new 2016 2600RB and have a question regarding the installation of my Lippert Solera awning topper for my slide out. Does anyone know if there is a backing on the side panel to attach the awning rail?

I am not sure if I can use screws or rivets to attach the rail.
