Multiple failures on trip this week

Gotta remember that mobiles techs usually do not have "staff" to answer the phone. They are a 1 man show. They get paid to fix things. Time spent on the phone slows down the job(s) they are currently working on.


I think he’s just swamped with work. He seems to be the only RV tech at the largest KOA in the US, Okeechobee Florida, KOA. Our cabin is 30 miles away in the sticks. It wouldn’t be as profitable to travel to us as it would be to go from RV to RV at the KOA sites. I just wish he would at least respond. If I were at the KOA I expect that setting him to look at our RV wouldn’t be an issue.

The other recommended mobile RV tech I called is now limiting himself to only Air Conditioner calls.

With all this work that’s out there they can get picky and I don’t blame them.
 
The mobile tech has been very unresponsive. He never returned any phone calls and he returned only one of several texts stating he’s busy that day. He had an open roof, 3 AC units and a gas leak he was dealing with all in the same KOA. He texted he would contact me the following day. That was a week ago any no further communication.

I was able to resolve the leveling ERROR with a phone call to Lippert so the RV can be moved.

I will try contacting another mobile tech tomorrow.

If you decide to get it back to the house and need a number for a mobile tech , I can get a number for you. We have a friend who had a tech do many repairs this past winter including a roof on site ! Anyways , he was dependable and has a 2nd person if the job requires 2 , did a good job and cleaned up after themselves without being asked to.
 
Update:

I contacted another RV Tech who last year took care of the previous recall where 120v AC wires needed to be secured up off the chloroplast.

He is coming out next Wednesday to replace the black tank valve I ordered, take care of the recall to secure teh AV Wires behind the fridge and fo up on the roof to reseal.

He is coming out next Wednesday to replace the black tank valve I ordered, take care of the recall to secure the HV Wires behind the fridge and fo up on the roof to reseal.

5 week Delayed update.

The tech came out that Wednesday and took care of the Fridge recall and resealed the roof. He said he would come back that Friday and do the Black tank valve and repair wood soft spot in pass through. HE NEVER SHOWED UP, HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MULTIPLE TEXTS, VOICE MAILS OR EMAILS. I owe him for Wednesday work so it’s strange. His brother in law works as gate guard at the community. He contacted him and told me he would call me in 2-3 days. 4 weeks later still no contact.

Frustrating. I’ll post a new thread about black tank valve location request.
