So my 340 RDS finally came in.......

And I can’t pick it up till the 17th because the dealer can’t see me this Saturday.
The first availability is the 10th and I am not available.

Do they realize they get paid upon delivery

Don’t have many choices. I’m only available on weekends and they are not open Sundays.

I'm pretty sure they do know. The rv industry has hit record highs in sales. They can only put out so many. It's a coming. The good thing is that it landed.

Yeah I know, I just don’t like the thought of my unit being a show piece for 3 weeks.

And quite frankly I don’t give a darn on these record sales.

They need to handle their business, as it won’t always be like this.

I guess I don’t understand

You want it this weekend but others are ahead of you and they are booked for deliveries
They gave you the tenth as an option because Saturday is the only day and now you are not available??

Unsure what you expect

Anyway. Enjoy your new trailer when you get it

Thank you.

It’s just been an interesting process. Without going into all the details I expected to pick up my unit this Saturday.

It’s really no big deal as long as it’s right and my RV isn’t used as a showroom. Which I know it will be. That’s why I want it ASAP.

I don't know what dealer you purchased from, but most dealers do not use a camper that has been purchased as a show piece. That's how other things get broken, then they are on the hook for repairing them. Even if they claim warranty work, it's still time they lose a tech to.

Just remember to do s very thorough PDI when you do pick it up, and don't sign or pay for anything until you are satisfied the dealer will (or has) fixed any and all issues you find during your PDI.

I liken a purchase of an RV to a house. You wouldn't sign the contract on a brand new house that has leaks, broken drawers, trim missing out falling off, windows that don't open it close, etc...
