My Tankless Water Heater Thermostat location is absurd!

I have an early gen 2024 Imagine XLS 22RBE.
The Tankless water heater thermostat is located in the bedroom, WHY! WHY! WHY!
Every time you walk by the thermostat it lights up, including at night when you are sleeping.
Who makes that decision when the tankless water heater is located right under the bathroom sink?
Why not put it in the bathroom?
So enough ranting, is it possible to move the thermostat to the bathroom or turn off the motion activation?

So after doing some research I think I have a simple fix, all I have to do is turn off the thermostat when I go to bed and it won't keep coming on as we walk by it!? Still going to see about moving it to the bathroom where it belongs and where it is in the late model 2024 22RBE. Maybe just disconnect it in bed room and pull the wires to the bathroom?
