Mystery switch

We just recently purchased a Momentum 350M and along with a couple of issues which will be dealt with through warranty, we came accross a switch to the left of the stovetop under the microwave hood that we do not know what it does!
 
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new TH. I'm guessing but maybe the switch is for the roof fan in the kitchen area...they're usually on a switch located somewhere.

Thanks For the welcome Dave, unfortunately there is no roof fan in the kitchen area. The only fan in the kitchen is on the microwave hood.

Hi @aktravler,

That switch should control the light above the stove. If it's not working, please call your dealer to have the wiring checked.

Janice, there is no light above the stove, the microwave has a light on it!

Great, I just looked and there is no light there.i do feel a hole under the wall paper up there where there should have been a light, I guess you should say "oops!" I would be happy to install the light if I knew for sure the wires were in there without cutting open the wall paper.

The wiring should be there, but if not you can either call your dealer to have it installed or our Customer Service department at (574) 825-9679 (and they can work with you to add it).
