I am trying to use city water and the blue knob on my Nautilus won't switch from horizontal to vertical. I can force it to get a little water but not much. Suggestions?
Presumably i can fill the tank to do dry camping, but for dry camping, the blue knob also has to be vertical.
Of course discovered this the first day of a 3 week trip

never try to change the position of the nautilus knobs when they have water pressure in the system. The o-ring seals will catch internally and become dislodged thereby interfering with the rotation of the knob. If you think thats what could have happened, maybe watch a u-tube video to see how to remove the knob valve and replace the 0-ring with the exact same one. This gave me a real headache with the low point valves. Or maybe something else. I wish you success. I will be watching to see what it was.

As LanerC said whenever you want to turn those valves not only should the water be shut off but after turning off the water turn a faucet on for a minute to release the pressure before you turn the valve.

Before i connected city water at our new campsite i turned all the Nautilus knobs 90 degrees and then put them back into CITY WATER positions
Seems to work fine now.
Thanks for the recommendation. I certainly would not have thought of that.
