With bedroom closet all the way in back the clothes on hangers keep falling off the clothes bar
I've tried bending the clothes hangers tighter no help
Just to much bouncing in the back of the rv
Any ideas how about it. 379ers tks

Amazon sells special hangers, Also I head to rev, the hangers so the hook opening is facing you,,,,,,,hope this helps

We use a tension loaded shower rod positioned just under the rod and up against the hangers. Attached is picture of one side of the shower rod. When not traveling, we just relocate the shower rod up against the lip on the closet shelf.

Thanks for taking the time to reply will try on our next trip . Some great ideas. Safe travels to y'all.

Someone in an earlier post on the same subject suggested just turning the hangers around and that kept everything on the rod. I know, seems too simple but she said it worked. It's all in the way the front of the trailer bounces.

I read and tried that. The roads in New Mexico can be rough. All of our clothes were neatly stacked on the floor on our last trip. The tension rod or special hangers may be next.

interest thought about the front of the RV bouncing I did air up our Air Bags in our truck to 38 PSI in stead of 18 PSI this time, which may have stiffened up the ride to much this may have caused more bounce. Tks will go back to 18 PSI

Scott you are right about the roads in New Mexico this is where the problem occurred some where between Gallup NM and Las Vegas NM (interstae 40 and 25N. We will try two suggestions (1. Lower the air in the air bags and 2. us a shower curtain rod in front of the cloths hangers ) both sound good. PS turning the cloths hangers around was tried and did not work for us safe travels to all

Sometimes I surprise myself in how poorly I read some of these posts. I just realized your B/R and closet are in the rear of the trailer. I had a rear kitchen model once and we constantly had shelves breaking from bouncing canned goods, etc.. The rear generally has the most bouncing and movement especially on rough roads. I don't think the increase in your air bag pressure had anything to do with the rear closet. I agree I would go with the tension rods. That seems like a very clever idea.
