Need new batteries. What to get. HELP

Now an update on LiTime and

Now an update on this topic. If you read above please read this.
I was reading what you guys were talking about and we do have Ground Control 3.0 electric leveling, 6 way leveling. We've had our single LifePo4 100 ah battery installed since early 2024 spring. We've never had a problem with the slides or leveling since switching to a Lithium battery.
Now not all our leveling jacks, 6 of them, are in motion at the same time. Two of them at the most are active at any one time. Seems to me the slides would take more sustained power draw than the leveling system?

Our battery is not a LiTime brand. Maybe LiTime puts a limit on their battery output? Maybe their support people just don't understand what their batteries can or can not do? Maybe that just need to change the parameters of their BMS? I don't know but what their telling people doesn't make sense to me.
On the other hand I can "kind of" understand starting a generator especially if it's cold but a genny shouldn't take near as much CCA as an truck engine.

I should also say we haven't leveled or put the slides out using just the battery , with the RV disconnected from grid power. So our battery is not taking the complete power usage hit, it's assisting.

Our battery is listed as the following.
Max continuous discharge current - 100A
Max discharge current 1 second - 400A
Max continuous output power 1280W
The BMS is a JBD

Still following with interest,

Good day everyone,
It's time to upgrade my batteries. We own a 2018 GD reflection 311BHS FW. The batteries I removed for winter storage are original and don't charge fully anymore.
Batteries and anything electrical is Greek to me so looking for some help.
Sounds like Lithium is the way to go these days. We had 2-100AH lead acid batteries, and assume I need to replace with the same?
We don't boondock, but we do spend nights at Walmart's and Bass Pro's etc. so would need power for those occasions.
I'd like to take advantage of some cyber Monday deals. I've been lurking on Renogy's website, but it's very overwhelming.
I just don't know what to buy and don't want to overspend on things I don't need.
Thank you in advance.

Kyle
@Quinny98
Kyle,
There are a lot of responses here. What did you finally do (or plan to do)?

We have a GD Momentum 30g. I just put in a Lithium Vatrer 460Ah battery and upgraded to a new auto detect converter from WFCO. I’ve been tracking Lithium battery pricing for 2 years. I just got this from Amazon for $999 including free shipping. While I understand many people don’t want to spend this much, check out their smaller sizes (vatrerpower.com). As many have said getting 1 larger battery is MUCH better and easier than wiring together multiple batteries. Also we put ours in a truck tool box, with 1/2” foam board, and heating pads from Ultraheat. I’ve just spent the past couple of weeks with temps in the 20s so I did some charging experiments at the low outside temps. Worked like a charm.
This battery has Bluetooth and a mobile app, so you can see temp, and charging levels, including each cell. We are 4 weeks in and everything is perfect!

I just stuck a Epoch 460Ah LiFePO into my 17MKE, and I love it so far. But there is plenty of cost involved, and it took me many days to research to screw up the courage to re-wire the stock WFCO converter. Youtube videos are your best resource, so I won't go over it all here. Here is my advice: 1. Yes, go LiFePO. 2. Get one big battery instead of two small ones. 3. Don't forget to buy a proper AC/DC charger for it - your stock charger won't cut it. 4. You get what you pay for with these kinds of electronics. Lean towards Victron and Epoch for the best, and Renogy for the still-good-enough. 5. The project won't be small, so be sure you want to do it or have a little cash to do it right. Good luck!
