Need New Mattress

We bought a 2025 Transcend One 161BH and found the mattress to be very hard. We are having trouble finding a new murphy bed (folding) mattress. It's a queen, not a short queen. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hey I know you asked about a mattress but I am waiting delivery of my 161BH and wanted to get your impressions of it. I know there is a very low carry capacity but did it seem like you had to make choices for what you wanted to bring or did it not seem like an issue at all? How does it tow? We replaced our mattress with a Nectar Mattress. It is the same one we sleep on in our house. It is also one of the few mattresses that are approved for use in an RV since the mattress sits directly on the plywood. Most of the other mattresses require ventilation under the mattress. They also give a really good military discount if you are a veteran. Now our camper sleeps as good as the bed in our house. https://www.nectarsleep.com/ We also covered the plywood with an old sheet so the mattress would not snag on the wood. We have been sleeping on our Nectar Mattress for years and it still sleeps like new. The mattress comes rolled up in a box to make it easier to get into the camper. Just don't open the box until you have it in the bedroom.

I also bought the Den-Dry to place under the mattress just to give additional ventilation under the mattress. Den-Dry Undermattress Anti-Condensation Pad

We just purchased a 2025 Imagine 23LDE and found the mattress to be hard as well. We purchased a 3 inch memory foam topper and laid it on the top with a mattress cover (like the fitted sheet). It seems to be working for us. Hope this helps.

We bought a Tochta Mattress. They will make a custom one. Just gave the measurements and hinge location and got it in 3 weeks. Around $700.
