Somewhere between our house in SE Washington state and Missoula MT our bedroom sliding door came off it's tracks and out of the plastic thing on the bottom near the floor. Actually, the track runners were ripped out of the top of the door with only one screw holding one of the runners. Interestingly, there are two runners for the bedroom door while three for the bathroom door. Awaiting to hear back from service if this is covered by the warranty.

One other thing related to the E2 Equilizer hitch we need addressed.

Other than those two things, our first outing to Glacier National Park was great. We really like the trailer a lot and hope the bedroom door will be fixed under warranty and fixed for good so it never breaks away from it's track again.

Our 2600RB before we left:

Did you secure the door in the open position prior to leaving? Our solitude has clear plastic straps with a snap on one end to hold all the sliding doors open during travel.

Our doors are secured by the same plastic straps. Yes, the door was secured. I do the walk through before we leave even for short excursions.

This happened to me once on the bathroom door where we did not secure the plastic strap. I'm sure a poorly adjusted door could also cause this issue. When I saw the door off the track I thought this was going to be bad, but there was no damage, where I re-installed the door. I do not like the way these doors secure for travel since a failure of the plastic strap can result in significant damage. A simple aluminum bracket could be made to drop in the door opening to guarantee this will not happen. Time to get the mig welder out. We also lower the table for travel as well.

The snap on the bedroom door of our 2018 Imagine 2800BH must have come loose on a recent trip, and one of the rollers came loose from the top of the door when it rolled past the end of the track. We found the roller laying on the floor and worried that it broke loose from the top of the door. After taking off the trim board so I could see the track and top of the door, I figured out that the stud hanging from the bottom of the roller fits into a slot in the bracket that's attached to the top of the door, and then there's a little clasp that rotates to hold onto the stud to keep it from slipping out of the bracket.

The track is mounted to a 2x, which would be a solid substrate to mount a metal angle or some other type of stop to keep the rollers from sliding out of the track again.

Bathroom door sliding off bracket in 2022 GD 260RB

Thanks for the pics. My bathroom sliding door came off on the back when bringing it home from our last adventure. The wheeled portion in the track separated from the bracket on the door. At first glance I had no idea how to make a repair until I came upon this post. Removing the fascia board made all the difference in seeing what the issue was. I applied a dab of silicone to the latch to hopefully keep it from popping off again. This is the first time this has happened in the year and a half we have been using it.

I found my bedroom door laying loose once also. The elastic strap wasn't enough to keep the door from slamming against the slide stop at the full open position hard enough for it to break the stopper right off and the door to roll right off the end of the track. I put in a beefier retaining bolt to stop that from happening again.

One of our previous trailers was a 2016 2600rb, we really liked it. We also had the bedroom door come loose. I did 3 things. 1) removed the trim that covers the door track; do this from inside bedroom. It was 3 scews. 2) Replaced all the wheels with Johnson control parts. These are much higher quality. Check HERE, I used p/n: Jo01020 from HERE 3) I modified the suspension with THIS. I am convinced the things that shake loose are due to our trailers not having sufficient shock absorbtion. I am impressed at the value of this suspension upgrade. Oh, one other thing I did was put a small piece of velcro to hold the door closed. I found the Johnson control parts made to door slide so smoothly that if trailer was not perfectly level side-to-side the door would open/close on its own.
