New Blackstone

Just purchased a new 36" Blackstone. We have a 17" but it is in our 5er at the dealer for repairs and that may take 1 to 2 more months. Does anyone else have one and, if so, have you figured a way to hinge the top? Right now I have to completely remove it.

Sorry I can't help with the Blackstone, but...at the dealer for one to two months?!? It didn't take that long to build the trailer in the first place.

I know. Dealer is behind with summer request for maintenance before camping season starts and is having problems getting parts. I did have extensive damage to the 5er.

hinged cover for 36" Blackstone

I did find a way to hinge the top (on youtube) but it would cut the fabric cover so I ordered one ($111 at Wallyworld). Also ordered throw-a-way inserts for the rear grease cup ($5), I do not like having to raise the griddle to empty the grease container.
