Finally our new 337RLS is in, we pick it up next Friday due to work schedules. Cannot wait, we are both excited. We are doing our PDI Friday morning then loading it up and heading out for the weekend.

Our old Laredo has been a great camper for us so it will be a little sad to see it go but look forward to new adventures in our new Reflection. After many boats and campers this will our very first new RV, we have always searched for great condition used rigs. This is also the most money that we have ever spent on a unit so a little nervous.

Jim and Cal - Enjoy. We're lovin' ours and can't wait for our summer journey to start in six weeks.

Congratulations on the new Reflection! Ours is loaded up, hooked to the truck and ready for our first weekend!! I have to work for a while today so we can't leave yet. We have waited for a month for the weather to break and our schedules to align so we can have our first stay in the trailer. We are pumped!!

Congrats! Campinfool, I bet you can't wait. You won't regret the $$$$$ you spent to get it.

CentralMichBo (being from MI also, Bo and Central just does not sound right ) Enjoy your first time out, it's looking like a nice sunny weekend for you.

Congratulations Jim and Cal! Hope y'all have a great PDI and wonderful first trip :)

WhittleBurner - I bleed Green and White and we also are close to CMU - the Bo is just a product of my Dad :) We have had a wonderful day so far - the rain let up - went for a long walk - all heaters are working fine - looking forward to our first night in the palace! Supposed to be about 38 tonight so should make for some good sleeping! We have not found a thing wrong yet. Grand Design is awesome!!

We did our walk through in the morning, finished up the paperwork and then headed home to load up and hit the campground. I have to say that General RV in Huntley, IL treated us very well and our sales guy Mike Chobak was super to work with, they could not have made this any easier, thanks.

I noticed the added weight difference from the Laredo to the 337 as soon as I hit the road. The 3500 Ram did a fine job and the camper pulled very easy but it is more camper than our old one. Backing it in at the house took a little more effort as the extra six feet made a slight difference but I am sure I will adapt quickly.

Got it loaded up and was at the campground in time for dinner. The set up is a little different than our Laredo as the rear stabilizers have to be lowered and set before the slides get deployed, something I will have to get used to doing but other than that all went smooth. The next thing we had to do was to find out how everything worked and what switches did what. The host came to check us in and of course wanted a tour and commented on how beautiful the camper was. I was cooking dinner outside and pretty soon we had several people wanting to take a look, we thought that was funny and of course we more than happy to show the new unit off!

Everything worked great with the exception of the mattress on the bed, WOW is that thing hard. I am not sure what manufacturers are thinking when they make deals with their suppliers but this thing will not be in the camper long. I told the wife that we should put that thing in the guest bedroom..............she did not see the humor.

Can't wait to get back out and use the new toy, I am going to make a few mods before our next trip. Thanks to everyone for sharing your advice on this forum and welcoming us to the GD family.

LOL Jim! That was one of the first things we changed about our camper....a new mattress! (we bought a 10" Cool Breeze Dynasty Mattress)
Sounds like you guys had a first great trip! I know y'all have many more :)

Sounds like you had a great experience!

We also notice the size and weight difference from our old Laredo. It tows fine, though, and is sooooo much nicer and comfy for longer trips.

We swapped the residential mattress that we had and left the new one with our trade in. With a 4" foam topper from Costco it is very comfy.

Congrats! We have had our 303 since January and have been on two trips with about 18 days total. We never get tired of talking about our trailer. ,we have had one minor issue with the landing gear but this was resolved with the great service I received fro GD. The mattress was ok but we could tell it wasn't going to last long so we bought a 14" memory foam mattress when it was on sale at Costco. I'm sure you'll have many years of great camping ahead with the Reflection, planning where to go and what to do instead of which dealer to take it to.

We noticed that the mattress was hard as a rock as we did our walk through. Before we left the dealership we swung by our trade in an swapped them out. Our full size queen fit perfectly.

Congratulations! We are also camping this weekend! still waiting for our GD Reflection 303 to arrive so this trip we will be using our travel trailer. That's ok it gives us something to look forward to on our next getaway! The 303 will be our first 5th wheel. Have fun camping!
