Just bought a new 2024 Imagine 2600RB RV. Tookl it out on our first weekend trip and found out the Furrion 12v 10 cu ft Fridge and Freezer don’t cool down. Should have check it better before taking delivery from the dealer. The light worked and seemed to be cooling down. The light does work and sounds like the compressor runs. I’m new to all this, so learning some things the hard way I guess you could say. The dealer says they are working in the fridge warranty issue with Grand Design. It has been a month and they’re still trying to get the needed approvals. The dealer indicates the fridge unit will be replaced with a new one. The paperwork now says when the fridge replacement is done it won’t fit through the door and will have to go through slide window with a window removal and replacement. The dealer tech rep said the compressor makes it too big to fit through the RV door and that the window removal and replacement is pretty easy to do. They could remove the compressor to make it fit through the door but it’s tricky to then they could reinstall the compressor but it may not be as reliable. Does anybody have experience with something like this and have any thoughts, comments, or suggestions?

Makes zero sense to me. I will admit I know zero about that fridge but how would removing the compressor make the exterior fridge dimensions smaller???

The dimensions listed online show one dimension under 25 inches. Should fit through the main door

Good chance your dealer doesn’t have a clue btw. Most don’t

It sure will fit through the door...they get skinnier when the doors are removed.
