New Keystone Alpine is looking nice

Moved from my 2016 Alpine to the 2021 Solitude. Did look at Alpines again in early 2021. Fit and finish were terrible. 2024 in the video does look better from what you can tell in a video. Seems back in 2021 they were perhaps putting some separation between the Alpine and Montana.

Interesting. Thanks for the post. Not sure I am a fan of the stove/range location; DW agrees.

I kind of like the stove location there. It give more room for 2 people to work in the Kitchen and give you a big work space that not on the island.

They have changed the hole Alpine line for 2024 The 3011ck is just a new twist on a old floor plan. Thought it was interesting.

Rob....I had a Keystone product before my GD Momentum. I had a 2017 Fuzion Impact 34 1/2' tow behind Toy Hauler. I realize that between 2017 and now, is quite a lot of time, so I don't have a clue how the Keystone stuff is built compared to the GD (my Momentum is a 2018 model, so pre Covid for sure). One of the things I absolutely hated about the Fuzion Impact was the cable operated slides....the BAL system. They were quirky, got out of adjustment, made odd noises and the larger of the two slides was like the entire operating system just wasn't sized big enough for the size of the slide. The Momentum with the hydraulic slides.....well, they just work and other than a small adjustment that I had to make to the dinette slide a few years back, they have been flawless. I don't know what the Alpine has for slide operation, but I can tell you this, without any uncertainty, I would never buy any brand trailer that used the BAL cable operated slides.

Our Keystone had poor heating distribution and it was the complaint we heard from other owners on the net. Actually no heating distribution.
It was a really bad designed "box n bag" system. No way to modify it to work.

They fought us for 4 years and we lemon lawed it, they lost.
Brutal company to deal with.
An incredible effort by them to shut owners out.

Cost them a lot of money to fight us, and we made a lot of money fighting them.

Grand Design heating system is perfectly balanced and well thought out. Along with the spectacular Colman A/C - its the way to roll. Nothing on the market tops it, nor is even close.

Sitting in the comfort of your home ya don't think of this. But in the desert with a Keystone RV full of family, kids and their friends when its 22F outside and a worthless heating system you wake up real fast to how important it is.
