Thinking of replacing mattress in our 303, anyone have any good ideas?

Sams Club is where my next camper mattress will most likely come from. The fact my 308 has a regular queen bed and not the "camper Queen" certainly opens up many options.

This is a common subject on this forum. Most owners are dissatisfied with the quality of bedding in their Grand Designs.

Many put a thick memory foam topper on their beds and are satisfied with how they sleep. Some go as far as to buy very expensive bedding like Sleep Number mattresses.

Each to his own.

We placed this mattress (8" night therapy total comfort premium queen memory foam) ordered from Sam's Club on top of our factory mattress and we are real happy with it. I am sure we could use it alone without the original one underneath but we like it so far this way. I will note that we do like memory foam mattresses, we sleep on a tempurpedic at home.

Denver Mattress has very great mattresses in their proprietary line. We bought a Green 9" queen memory foam for our 337, and it is great. It comes in a 12'' by 12" by 60" box and is HEAVY. but easy for 2 people to get through the doors. You get to take off $100 for no need of a foundation. We paid in the mid $400 range, and it is very nice to have a firm mattress between us and the wooden base! It is higher than the night stands but that's fine.

Denver Mattress also seems to have the best prices for what we looked at. JMHO

Wife wanted to have a gel mattress so we replaced ours with a Serta gel.......she loves it and we both sleep very well ! The weight makes it a little harder to raise the bed to access the storage area but life does have its minor inconveniences.
