Hi my husband and I are new to grand design but not new to camping or owning a camper. We started out tent camping then moved to a pop up then a hybrid and then travel trailer and now our fifth wheel.
We are loving our new fifth wheel. We had planned to purchase a solitude but then ended up buying a reflection. lol we camp every weekend and we camp up to 3 weeks at a time. We are trying winter camping this winter as well. We are planning to travel America when we retire in 5 yrs. So for now we camp in our home state of Michigan and surrounding states.

Welcome to the forum. Love the look of the rear living room in the 341RDS. It sounds like you're pretty experienced, but be sure to let us know if anything comes up you need help with.

Thank you so much! Only issue we have with our reflection is our door latch and a tray in the storage compartment are both broken. It came that way. We didn’t notice it til we got home and let the dealership know right away but apparently their service department is too busy to get it fixed til spring. So we will have to wait til then or fix it ourselves. But otherwise we love the floor plan. We can access our fridge, bathroom and bedroom while traveling and it feels like a home rather than a camper.

I’ve wanted to winter camp for a few years now but the hubby didn’t want to until we got the fifth wheel. We haven’t had too much winter weather yet so camping has really been just like camping in the summer with the exception of being able to use the water. Since we winterized our camper we are just using electric heat and not using water. Campground we camp at has heated bath house.
