We finally got to swap our Momentum for the Refection yesterday. I keep "high stepping" where the stairs used to be. LOL.

That 315 is a sweet floor plan - especially as we get older... Congratulations.

We love ours. Tons of room for the 2 of us. We are on our summer “get out of the heat” trip right now up in Revelstoke, BC. Very comfortable.

Still trying to figure out where to put everything. So far all is good. Thanks for the comments.

The 315rlts is a bit tricky to load. It is pretty tongue heavy, which your dually will have no trouble with. Make sure your WD hitch is up to it. My trailer is tough to load under the 1,400lb TW limit on my 14,000/1,400 lb WD hitch. A better choice would be a 16,000/1,600 lb version. Even better would be something in the 18,000/1,800 lb range.

Another challenge is this trailer comes from the factory about 500 lbs heavier on the kitchen side vs the camp side. Since there is a lot of storage on the kitchen side, it’s hard to load it without making it more lopsided.

Finally, total trailer GVW is very easy to exceed. Especially if you carry more than just emergency water in the FW tank.

I strongly suggest a few visits to your local CAT scale to get it set up the way you want.

Well the good news is I requested a Blue OX 15,000/2,000 hitch, which I got. Also pulling it with a 3500 dually. I got no sway coming home from the dealership (empty of course).

A side note. You would not believe how much extra crap we removed from 10 years in the Momentum. We had 4 extra flat sheets under the bed (about 10 lbs) as a example. Might have been several extra screwdrivers, pliers, 3 hammers etc, too! If you're a full timer go through your stuff.

Thanks for the tips. Great write up on your weight.

Great looking unit! Love the bedroom layout and overall floorplan! We have the 295rl it's our first 5th wheel! I don't think we could ever go back to a bumper pull we love the 5th wheel!
