Many thanks to the moderators and many contributors of this forum. I just made down payment on on 2024 GD Imagine XLS 22MLE yesterday. My wife and I hope to be camping in the new RV mid July.
I will be pulling with a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon (for now). The Rubicon tow package is not as high as other vehicles out there (but still within the GCVW). I recently rented a 22MLE to see how well the Rubi will handle and it seemed to be fine. I will need to stay away from the higher altitudes out west for now. I may end up with a Ford F-150 or Dodge Ram in the future.
We motorcycled and tent camped for many years. In 2020 we bought a NewCamp 320S Boondock that was towable with our Jeep Wrangler. This is my first RV over 15ft.
I hope to learn about this RV and join as a paid member soon.

Welcome aboard Phil.
We’re touring in Michigan as I type. We hiked in Sleeping Bear Dunes this morning. Beautiful park. The MLE is a great “couples” trailer.
Enjoy!

Hi and welcome ! You'll enjoy the extra space. We eveolved from an Aliner LXE (12 ft ) to a 26' TT then the 5th wheel in short time. I do miss the little A and the places it would fit at times. We have some great places to camp here in MI

Sleeping Bear Dunes is a nice place to visit. If you like wine, try to make the short trip to the peninsulas north, north/west of Traverse City. You won't be disappointed. Safe travels. ;-)

Thanks to all. I take delivery in one week. I am researching backup cameras now and looking forward to connecting with mother nature

Towing with a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon should work out well, especially since you've already tested it out with a rental. Smart move to consider the F-150 or Ram for future upgrades if needed.
