Greeting GD Owners, Just purchased our 2024 Solitude last month and so far loving it. Been out once and getting ready to head out again. We do have a few questions we are hoping you can answer:
Noticed water spilled on kitchen floor the 3 times we completed towing. Even though the water pump is off we have found water on the floor. I suspect the faucet handle is opening up and residual water in the line is spilling so for now we are using a small bungy cord to keep the handle closed.
I have water in my fresh water tank and it appears there is NOT anyway to empty the fresh water tank except to run it into the waste tank- is this correct?
When storing the camper how do I power down the 12v fridge, throw the breaker?
While crawling underneath the slide out with the fireplace I noticed a lever under the slide, i did not touch it , does anyone know what this is for?

Thanks all, I appreciate any feedback.

1. Water sometimes drips from the faucet. We have noticed that the faucet rotates sometimes while driving and then the bumps on the way cause it to drip. Never notice the tap turn on though.
2. The handle under your kitchen slide is the drain for the fresh water tank. Just pull and and stand back while the water pours out.
3. I don't have the 12V fridge. I still have the Norcold 2118 absorption fridge so can't help there but either hit the breaker or find a switch to turn it off in the manual.

And the level should be for the auto leveling system. There should be another one somewhere for the other direction.

Your 12-volt frig should have a built-in way to turn it off, check the owner's manual. Be sure to shut it down before storage, don't rely on the battery kill switch. Some have permanently damaged their fridges due to power issues during storage.

Not sure what level you are referencing , but I do have the auto leveling system controller in the drivers side front storage compartment

Thank you , your reply has been very helpful.

Just gone out on another trip - the shelves in the closet with the washer/dryer hook up have fallen each time we have pulled the fifth wheel . Anyone have any ideas on how to prevent the shelves from falling ?

Another question - what do you use to prevent items in the refrigerator from shifting? When we had a TT we used the tension bars but they do not expand enough for our current refrigerator .

Sorry can't help with this one. My shelves have never fallen. They are actually pretty tight.

My bottom shelf in my W/D prepped area would fall each time. I tried putting stuff under it, on it, and making sure it was correctly mounted. No luck. I removed it. It’s under the bed now till I figure something out. It’s there with a glass fridge shelf that comes lose no matter what too. That shelf has busted two of door shelves in the fridge. I glued those back together but they can’t hold more than ketchup packs from a fast food place without breaking. On a side note I really the fridge as a whole, but my last trailer had a residential whirlpool that stood up to road abuse way better. Zero issues with that one.

Turning off the fridge is not intuitive. As others have stated, read the manual. In your defense even that is poorly written. It refers to function buttons. However the manual shows one button labeled function and none of the fridge buttons say “function”. Someone did poorly in technical writing while in college.

Need help with legs on Solitude. Have a 2021 344GK and cannot get to move. Tried everything. Front all the way on ground . Used a website that shows how to get legs up manually however couldn't get it to work. Help please!

Thank you, your response made me and my wife chuckle because we also noticed one of the glass shelves in our refrigerator come loose twice.

Now we have another issue that will need to be addressed at the dealership. The grey tank for the kitchen is full and the valve does not open to allow the water to pass. I spent a few hours watching you tube videos on how to first find the release valve, how to ensure the cables are not binding and how to replace the valve if need be. Well it looks like whoever installed this valve never read the manufactures suggestion to make the cable run as straight as possible and if a turn is needed to be made ,to make the turn nice and wide. I rerouted the cable run as per the manufacturer but the valve is frozen, the handle moves a little but no liquid passes. I went as far as trying to move the cable manually by pulling on it with a pair of pliers right at the valve body but no luck. Had to stop using the sink since water would not drain.

Obvious question first: What's the voltage on the battery? Are you hooked up to shore power?

You probably will get more replies if you start a new thread with the issue you are experiencing in the title.

Well the dealer has replaced the grey tank valve for the kitchen galley, great news it now functions properly.
When we picked it up from the dealership I had a low voltage power message when attempting to use my landing gear. Had to connect fifth wheel to my truck to extend front jacks to hook up to camper. Once I got home and unhooked I noticed a beeping sound from refrigerator , which I thought was weird since I followed manual on how to properly shut down 12 volt fridge.
I went online and read all about how to do a hard reset the 12volt fridge. It did not work for me, the key here is the light in my fridge was not on as opposed to the online suggestions referred to the compressor not coming on and the light being operational.

After troubleshooting this issue with Lippert , the owners of Furrion, it was decided I did have the correct voltage coming in to the main control board but the board wes not sending the proper message to turn the compressor on. They decided to send me a new board. The new board has a few enhancements to help with heat dissipation , but the new board is now blowing the 20 amp fuse in the fuse box. Furrion is now sending me a second new board to try.

Yep, battery is always dead when I pick it up at the dealer. I have a true battery disconnect switch, but can't use it at the dealer as they won't know it is there. Main disconnect doesn't disconnect everything so battery will drain after a couple of days sitting.

I have the same problem. Batteries are always dead when I pickup at the dealer. You'd think these guys would know better but then it seems not.

***Update. Second new Main Control Board arrived this morning, I did install it and so far the fridge has been working since 1pm.
