Hello everyone, we picked up our 303RLS on Valentine's day and just wanted to say that we are very excited to finally own a GD! We were ready to pull the trigger on a 29RS but once we walked into the 303RLS and realized that the view on the campsite side was so much better, Camille looked at me and mentioned no more watching the other folks campsite, this is the one!
We have had TT's for the last 10 years and really wanted a 5th wheel for the space and storage and the towabillity that 5th wheels provide. I convinced my brother to trade in his Keystone Raptor for a 29RS telling him all the good things I have been hearing about GD quality and customer service. They picked theirs up in the fall of 2016 and have loved every minute of it.
I was a little anxious pulling a 5th wheel after pulling TT's for the past 10 years but the pull home to the storage yard was uneventful. As soon as the weather gets warmer i will practice backing and more importantly find out how much I can turn without hitting the cab. Will also load it up and hit the CAT scale to see how much weight is on the pin.
Sorry about the rant, just can't wait for the weather to break and start enjoying our new coach!
