New purchase and tank heater install

Careful. Jan 2023 we hit -13F just west of MHT - only one night but it can happen. Our scouts went out on a winter camping trip many years back to Northfield, Mass (just south of Winchester, NH) - hit -23F. Lowest I've seen. It's hard to track because the only official weather records in the state are for Concord.

Yeah, a few years back was staying (in a condo) just outside of Stowe Village VT and we woke up to -20F. Yowza. Needless to say we didn't go skiing that day. lol

The last few winters I'm sure I haven't seen anything worse than single digits in and around the White Mountains (at least on the days/weekends we were skiing) - bad, but not potentially catastrophic. Until I get this sorted out and the trailer appropriately outfitted we will definitely be watching the weather reports more closely for temperature (as opposed to just snowfall forecasts. haha).

Thanks !

My mistakes - actually Feb 3/4, 2022 we hit -13F - verified on my weather station when we got home. We were stuck in NC visiting our daughter and all had Covid. Trailer was sitting at the dealership lot for warranty work. Service writer was kind enough to go out and check our battery status and make sure that our heat pads were working day before. Luckily no snow on the solar panel.

Stowe VT is a lovely area. In between the 24 years in Manchester NH then another 8 in Easton PA doing linework. I spent 3 weeks doing a little contractor linework in Stowe Vermont. If you have ever taken the drive up the mountain to the VonTrap family lodge. Right where one turns off the road to go up the mountain to it, there was an electric sub station to the right. It blew up, we relocated it to another road/area and removed the blown up equipment from it. The temp in the fall and winter can swing quite a bit, then back to nice, or nice for the winter temps.

There looked to be a very nice campground coming from NH to Stowe VT right when getting into Stow. Must be open year-round.

Well, I've cross-country skied at Trapp (awesome trail system) but, sorry, never noticed the sub-station. Not my thing :)

I'll check into that campground since just love skiing at Stowe. Well the $40 parking fee on weeekends makes it a bit less desirable but pretty much nothing about skiing is cheap (just like RVs I guess. lol).

Thanks !
